Calls We’ve Used Through the Years

Our approach to calling predators has evolved just like the rest of our gear.

In the early years, we relied on mouth calls. Learning to work a call by hand taught us patience, timing, and how to truly understand animal behavior. Those fundamentals still shape how we hunt today.

As technology advanced, we transitioned into electronic calls. We started with Primos and other dependable, off-the-shelf options from local sporting goods stores. Those calls helped us gain consistency and expand our setups.

Over time, as our experience grew and our hunts became more refined, we moved toward higher-performance systems. Today, we primarily run a mix of Lucky Duck and FoxPro electronic calls, depending on the conditions and the specific hunt.

Each stage taught us something. From hand calls to premium electronic systems, the most important factor has never been the brand — it’s understanding how and when to use the tools effectively.

At the end of the day, success comes down to preparation, positioning, and experience in the field. The equipment simply supports the hunter behind it.
