Like most hunters, we started with what was available and what fit our budget at the time. In the early years, we ran ATN optics. As technology advanced and our experience grew, we transitioned into AGM systems. Today, we run a mix of AGM and RIX optics depending on the application.

Each brand has its place. Every optic offers a balance of performance, durability, features, and price point. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution — what matters most is choosing equipment that fits your needs, your terrain, and your budget.

The most important thing isn’t having the most expensive setup. It’s getting out there. Hunt with what you can afford. Hunt with what you’re confident using. Skill, preparation, and time in the field will always matter more than the name on your optic.
